Argos FVS2 feeder calibration device

Argos-Systems feeder tester FVS 2 is a test system for Siemens-Schulz and Hover-Davis feeders.

FVS 2 can test several basic functions of feeders for example motor run etc. The core of this feeder tester is an optical system, which can check the positions of the teeth. In this process the teeth are recorded by a infrared-camera. The picture then is analyzed by an algorithm which calculates the teeth's positions and compares them with target tooth positions. The feeder itself is positioned by the recognition of a reference. By this means the positions of the teeth in reference to the feeder are measured – there are no external mechanical influences. As the camera works with infrared light there is no interference from ambient light.
